hello! another review this week, but today I'm not gonna make a review about movie. Today I want to make a review about Sherlock Holmes TV Series. yes! TV Series, If you courius why I made a review about that? and is there anything special on it? let's check it out!
Who don't know about sherlock holmes? I bet everyone know about him as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's fictional detective masterpiece stories. Sir Arthur make a Sherlock Holmes stories based on situation on that day. what if Sherlock Holmes stories is transformed into nowadays? Sherlock Holmes 21st Century, he's using cellphone, blog and twitter? are the story changed? NO! the story became more interesting, and not boring anymore, as you know every detective story always have a slow and complicated plot, except this one!
Sherlock Holmes TV Series is a British television crime drama that presents a contemporary update of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Sherlock Holmes detective stories. It stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman as Doctor John Watson. Six episodes, broadcast since 2010, have been produced, with three more episodes scheduled to begin production in early 2013. The series has been sold to over 180 territories.
Sherlock Holmes depicts "consulting detective" Holmes assisting the Metropolitan Police Service, primarily DI Greg Lestrade (Rupert Graves), in solving various crimes. Holmes is assisted by his flatmate, Dr John Watson, who has returned from military service in Afghanistan. Although the series depicts a variety of crimes and perpetrators, Holmes' conflict with his nemesis Jim Moriarty (Andrew Scott) is a recurring feature. Pathologist Molly Hooper assists Holmes in her laboratory. Other recurring roles include Una Stubbs as Mrs. Hudson, Holmes and Watson's landlady, Vinette Robinson as Sgt. Sally Donovan, and Mark Gatiss as Sherlock's brother, Mycroft Holmes, CIA agent who has intelligence almost the same as Sherlock.
Honestly, I really love the new Sherlock Holmes and I must say this Sherlock Holmes TV series is much much much better than Sherlock Holmes Movie! Benedict Cumberbatch is the most appropriate actor to role Holmes, really genius, little bit freak, charm, arrogant etc. totally different to sherlock holmes that played by Robert Downey Jr. unfortunately, the drama only broadcast 3 episodes in a year, so you have to wait 1 year to watch the next season, a very long time to wait but worth it! Are you Sherlock Holmes lover? or thriller and detective stories lover? you must watch this!
